Helena Erbanova will be back to race XTERRA Spain National championships 2014!
The 2013 Europe series champion as well as ITU Cross Triathlon World Champion has only good memories of her first XTERRA race in Spain earlier this year.
We asked Helena to tell us why she loves coming back to race XTERRA in Spain:
Of course, I want to return to Cieza and enjoy this spectacular race under the hot sun! XTERRA Spain is the first big race of the season and also the first test against the other pros, which will indicate where their respective fitness levels are.
XTERRA Spain is different from many other XTERRA circuits. Part of the attraction is that each transition is elsewhere, which makes for a very complex but interesting organization. However, the run leg is absolutely spectacular - very tough, but with beautiful cross country trails. I am most definitely back in Cieza for the National Championships 2014. See you there!
