XTERRA Training – A Uniquely Spanish Experience (with video)

Here is the reason why XTERRA Spain in Cieza, Murcia, makes for a uniquely different training and  racing experience compared to the rest of the traditionally more wet and cold European circuits.

Even now, during winter time, when the rest of Europe is once again suffering the effects of extreme weather patterns, the climate here in Cieza is favourable for training – mostly dry, wind still and sunny days combined with mild day time winter temperatures ranging from between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius!

Cieza is a trainers’ paradise, to say the least. Ask Alexander Haas from Germany.

When Alexander visited Cieza in April last year for a week’s training, he was pleasantly surprised by the agreeable climate. He escaped from the freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall in Roth, Germany to arrive in Cieza on a sunny April’s day.

“I can’t believe it. This is like summer here. It reminds me the cowboy movies in the desert.”

There are many reasons why you should come to Cieza – the scenery, the food and delicious fruits, the friendly people, the caves and the big river – but most of all, an XTERRA-experience in the ‘desert’ that you won’t forget.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this unique XTERRA-experience.
